Our Team
Meet Jenn, Joelle, and Amanda ! We’re 3 therapists in Ontario who nerd out on therapy content. We believe in connection and have a strong focus on relationships, feelings, and nervous system resiliency. In the therapy room, we are humans first and therapists second. Our goal at FSP is to help clients build a more compassionate relationship with themselves, so that they feel empowered to make meaningful life changes
Director and Registered Psychotherapist
Jennifer Grindon, M.Ed, RP
Individuals 15+ years old and Couples| LGTBQ+ friendly| Virtual or in-person (Ottawa)
Jenn is passionate about her work and has been working in the mental health and social service field for over 10 years (i.e., hospital, university, and community settings). She strives to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the best psychotherapy practices and enjoys continued professional and personal development opportunities. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time in nature and connecting with those she loves. Jenn believes that human connection is the foundation for healing. She works to create a safe relational space for you to navigate your challenges. She truly believes that each one of us has an innate understanding of what we need to grow and heal from our experiences if we experience a felt sense of safety. Jenn will help you explore how past experiences may be affecting current life, with the goal of moving beyond painful and unsatisfying experiences. As a result of psychotherapy, clients report increased self-understanding, self-sufficiency, and improved relationships. Through a strengthened relationship with the self and others, people feel safe enough to make meaningful life changes.
