More about me:
Christina is a student therapist bringing years of frontline experience supporting individuals through trauma, mental health challenges, and complex life transitions. Her approach is warm, steady, and deeply client-centered, rooted in the belief that healing happens when people feel safe enough to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve had to hold alone.
Before beginning her clinical training, Christina worked in gender-based violence counselling, youth care, addictions programming, and mental health support across diverse communities. She has supported women, teens, and families navigating domestic violence, homelessness, substance use, and trauma. Her background gives her a grounded understanding of both crisis and long-term healing work—making her especially attuned to the nervous system, attachment, boundaries, and the lived impact of trauma.
As a certified yoga teacher, Christina integrates an embodied lens into her therapeutic work. She understands how the body holds emotion and how regulation, breath, and gentle awareness can support meaningful change. Clients often describe her presence as compassionate, thoughtful, and grounding.Christina works from trauma-informed, feminist, and strengths-based perspectives. She welcomes adults and youth seeking support with trauma, anxiety, relationship patterns, emotional overwhelm, and rebuilding trust in themselves.
Outside of work, Christina loves to hang out with her senior orange tabby cat, hanging out on her yoga mat, and embracing new experiences through travel.
Christina will be working under the clinical supervision of Jennifer Grindon, Registered Psychotherapist, throughout her placement at Felt Sense Psychotherapy. She is currently welcoming new clients (16+) and offers accessible, affordable rates to make therapy as inclusive as possible. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, untethered, or simply ready for change, Christina would be honoured to walk alongside you. If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, respect, and thoughtful guidance, she invites you to book a free consultation and take that first courageous step towards feeling more grounded and connected.
